  2. Tomorrow I am playing in a one game per week local tournament. The time control is 40/2, 20/1 with adjournment afterwards-something that is no longer done!

If I figure out a way, I will send you the game after it is finished to see if I learned my lesson.

    Thanks.

  3. Hi!

    The first round is over.

    My first game was short but I saw the application of "To take or Not Take?" My opponent correctly chose not to take on move 12...Nce5 but made a bad move with 13.Nd4. GM Smirnov gave a new way of looking at exchanges-thanks for posting! Here are the moves:1.e4 d6, 2.d4 Nf6, 3.Nc3 g6, 4.Bg5 Bg7, 5.e5 Nfd7, 6.exd6 cxd6, 7.Bc4 0-0,8.Nf3 h6 9.Be3 Nc6 10.Bb5 Nf6 11.0-0 Ng4 12.d5 Nce5 13.Nd4 (He must save the B with 13. Bd2 or Bd4 or B almost anywhere) Nxe3 14.fxe3 Ng4, 15.Re1 Qb6, 16.Na4 Qa5, 17.Qd3 a6 18.Nb3 Qxb5 19.Qxb5 axb5 20.Nb6 Ra6 21.Nxc8 Rxc8 22.c3 b4 23.cxb4 Bxb2 0-1
